Description:
This role is for an ISC Project Manager with responsibility to lead the strategic evaluation/financial modeling and execution of major transformation projects across Resideo. The projects can consist of: Acquisition Integrations, Factory Repositioning, Footprint Consolidations/Rationalizations, and Resourcing projects (Insourcing and Outsourcing) to meet objectives.
Responsibilities:
- The position will work with ISC, Engineering, & Functional Leadership and Corporate Leadership to coordinate and manage all project activities.
- Identifying, developing and leading the alignment of strategic initiatives and resources, prioritizing per financial returns and strategic impact in order that critical STRAP targets are achieved from a resource, schedule and capability perspective. Align strategic initiatives with SBE, ISC, and Functional leadership. Turn Strategic plans into actionable projects with accurate cost and schedule. Execute on transition projects.
- Determining appropriate products/processes to include in the scope of the transition; phase in/phase out of planning/manufacturing from sending to receiving sites; inventory buffer builds; transfer of data from support (ex. IT) systems; analysis of space requirements for receiving sites; capital requirements and engineering estimates, hidden factory capture etc.
- Ensuring global use of tools & techniques (specifically the Resideo Standard Transitions Process) to manage the implementation of transformation initiatives.
- Manage project charters, risk mitigation plans, project schedules, financial target definition, costs/savings calculations and methodology, periodic business reviews, senior leadership briefings, resource planning, change management plans, employee relations plans, roles and responsibilities matrices, phase-gate based implementation methodologies, conflict resolutions plan and service level agreements to guarantee success.
- Ambassador for the Standard Transitions Process (STP) and ensure the process discipline and surrounding operating principles (Steering Committee Phase Gates, Risk Mitigation Plans, Integrated Project Plans, etc.) are embedded in the project team culture.
- Partnering with executive leadership team to deploy Management Operating System aligned with the Standard Transitions Process.
- Use Six Sigma and Lean manufacturing principles to implement corrective and improvement actions during the transition process.
