OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated iSEND Development Officer to join our Children’s Services Directorate within the Integrated SEND Team. In this pivotal role, you will manage key projects aimed at enhancing the quality of services for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). Your expertise will support our commitment to the SEND Strategic Delivery Plan, ensuring that our standards not only meet but exceed auditing expectations.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage projects to improve service quality for SEND.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and support areas such as education provision, complex needs, and preparation for adulthood.
  • Collaborate with partners across the local area to deliver on transformation projects linked to transport and SEND services
  • Support the Quality Assurance framework, manage induction programs, and ensure inspection readiness.
  • Analyse data to inform commissioning and produce monthly reports for senior management.
  • Engage with stakeholders to deliver the Quality Assurance Framework and support service delivery.

    Any-Desk:
    As an ‘any-desk’ worker, you’ll need to be connected to our network to access digital folders and resources, but this can either be from home or an office location when required. You will be required to work from the office a couple of times a week, depending on your role and team requirements.
