REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven experience in managing operations within a container yard or tank storage facility, preferably with ISO tanks (T75, T50).
• Strong understanding of ISO tank specifications, handling procedures, and maintenance requirements.
• Knowledge of safety and regulatory compliance related to tank storage, handling, and environmental standards.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet operational deadlines.
• Proficiency in yard management software or systems is a plus.
• Valid forklift or other yard equipment certifications are a plus.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:

As the ISO Tank Yard Manager, you will lead a team, ensure the safe storage and maintenance of ISO tanks, oversee equipment operations, and maintain compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. You will be tasked with optimizing yard processes, ensuring effective scheduling of tasks, and managing resources to meet operational targets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee daily operations of the ISO Tank Yard, including the safe handling, storage, and maintenance of T75 and T50 containers.
• Manage and coordinate the movement of ISO tanks within the yard, ensuring optimal use of space and efficient tank handling.
• Supervise and train staff, managing shift schedules and ensuring all team members adhere to safety and operational procedures.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, environmental policies, and industry standards related to tank storage, handling, and maintenance.
• Monitor and maintain yard equipment, ensuring it is in good working order, and schedule regular maintenance or repairs as needed.
• Work closely with logistics and operations teams to coordinate the delivery, pickup, and inspection of ISO tanks.
• Conduct regular inspections of the yard and tanks to ensure all equipment is maintained to the highest safety and operational standards.
• Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize yard operations, reduce turnaround time, and enhance overall efficiency.
• Manage inventory levels and ensure proper documentation for all tanks entering and exiting the yard, including condition reports and maintenance records.
• Coordinate with external contractors and service providers when necessary to support yard operations.
