IT SERVICE DESK TEAM LEADER

Hours: 9am-6pm (Subject to change to Operational requirements)

Responsibilities:

As the ideal candidate for the Service Desk Team Leader:
Your strong technical foundation is reflected in your knowledge of Windows 10 & 11, enterprise networking fundamentals such as VLANs, Firewalls, routing, etc., and desktop software including MS Office products.
With an extensive background, you possess a minimum of 3 years’ experience in leading a Service Desk Team and at least 5 years’ experience in supporting a wide range of IT applications and platforms.
Your familiarity with Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Windows RDP/Citrix positions you as a key technical authority in the team.
You’ve honed your skills through ITIL Foundation or Practitioner training, ensuring that you approach tasks and challenges through best practices and proven methodologies.
Your experience is not just technical; you have a rich history of customer service delivery in a bustling IT environment, making you both tech-savvy and user-focused.
Managing IT assets like desktops, laptops, and mobile devices is second nature to you, ensuring that Sigma’s IT assets are always in optimal condition.
Your proactive nature, coupled with your vast experience, ensures that you are always ahead of the curve, identifying challenges & issues before they escalate and consistently driving excellence.
Your strong communication skills enable you to bridge the gap between IT and other stakeholders, building and maintaining excellent relationships.
You thrive under pressure, efficiently managing time critical incidents and acting as a stabilizing force for your team.
You hold excellent problem-solving skills, an eye for detail, and the capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
