Description:

WHAT MAKES YOU SPECIAL

  • 4+ years of experience: You bring extensive experience as an IT Administrator or in a similar role, with a proven track record of managing complex IT environments.
  • Operating Systems Expertise: You are proficient in macOS and Windows and have advanced knowledge of Linux. You ensure that all operating systems within our environment are meticulously managed and consistently up to date.
  • Networking Know-How: You are very comfortable at configuring and maintaining office networks and WiFi, with hands-on experience debugging network issues. Experience managing UniFi devices is a plus. You are adept at ensuring network devices, including access points, switches, and printers, are always operational and up to date.
  • Mobile Device Management (MDM): You have a strong background in implementing and managing MDM solutions across macOS, Windows, Android, iOS, and Linux devices, ensuring all devices are secure, compliant, and updated. Your expertise extends to automation and scripting, particularly in streamlining onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • IT Management Proficiency: You manage users through Google Workspace with ease, automating critical processes like onboarding/offboarding and access permissions. You maintain an up-to-date inventory of hardware and network devices, ensuring seamless IT operations. You are experienced in IT Asset Management (ITAM) and IT Software License Management, utilizing automation workflows to improve efficiency.
  • Basic Scripting Knowledge: You are comfortable writing shell scripts for macOS and PowerShell/BAT scripts for Windows to automate routine tasks, reduce manual workload, and enhance productivity.
  • Hardware Mastery: You are confident in managing and improving meeting room technology, ordering new laptops and mobile phones, and maintaining an up-to-date inventory of all hardware. Your meticulous attention to detail ensures that all devices are tracked, managed effectively, and ready for use.
  • Team Support: You provide exceptional support to employees, addressing daily IT issues such as password resets and managing access to internal tools. You ensure that all team members have the resources and access they need to work effectively.
  • Security Compliance Expertise: You bring substantial experience in maintaining and improving security policies and procedures, particularly aligning with ISO 27001 standards. You are instrumental in supporting the continuous improvement of our security posture and ensuring compliance across the organization.
  • Research and Continuous Improvement: You are proactive in identifying bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement within our IT infrastructure. You research, test, and implement new tools and solutions, driving innovation and efficiency in our IT operations.
  • Language Skills: You have excellent written and spoken English. Fluency in German is considered a strong advantage.

Responsibilities:

At Meister, we can only make software that teams love to use if our own systems work as well. As our new IT Administrator, you’ll keep everyone at Meister connected to the IT resources they need. But safety first: you’ll ensure that security policies are implemented and monitored too.
