The Fota collection are currently recruiting for an IT Administrator (Level 1/2) to join their team. Although mainly based in Fota Island Resort you may be required to work on occasions in our sister hotel The Kingsley.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Windows server 2012, Active directory and Office 365 management.
  • CCNA / CompTIA Network + certification or equivalent qualification is desirable but not essential, relevant experience will be taken into consideration.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to support both highly technical and novice customers/clients.

Responsibilities:

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide frontline remote and desk side support services to end users.
  • Troubleshoot PC related problems either via phone, remote tools or desk side support.
  • Build, configuring and troubleshoot Server, PC, Laptop applications and hardware components and will also have working knowledge of all Windows Operating Systems
  • Facilitate a warranty repair with the relevant hardware vendor.
  • Perform on-site installation of hardware and/or software.
  • Maintenance of workstation spare parts break/fix, upgrades
  • Complete incidents and requests within SLA in environment.
  • Ensure tickets are updated on a daily basis.
  • Support meeting room environment and IT setup as needed by clients.
  • Support printers, scanners and other peripherals.
  • Support mobile devices, such as iPads, iPhones and android phones.
  • Support IPTV system and chromecasts
  • Cisco network switches management configuring port settings sound fundamentals knowledge of networking and hardware concepts.
