WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

To support us on our mission, we are looking for a talented and highly ambitious IT Administrator for our Development department. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and maintaining our servers, creating and managing test environments for QA, and ensuring our infrastructure is updated and extended. You will prepare devices and environments for development, handle IT onboarding for new developers, and manage the setup of environments for testing new software and updates. Additionally, you will research, purchase, and take inventory of equipment and software.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Very strong ability to listen attentively, apply logic and reason, follow- through, can-do attitude, and exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
  • Knowledge about the administration of Linux systems
  • Familiarity using command line and related tools
  • Experience with virtualization and monitoring
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are mandatory; any other languages, such as German, are a plus

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Extensive knowledge about the administration of Linux systems
  • Good knowledge of using command line and related tools
  • Proficiency with Bash scripting
  • Background in virtualization and monitoring
  • Programming skills, preferably in C/C++
  • Strong problem-solving skills and hands-on mentality
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
