Description:
We currently have a vacancy for an IT Analyst fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on-site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated with the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.
REQUIREMENTS
- University degree in IT combined with relevant IT professional experience of 7 years;
- Experience with business process modelling and formalism (BPMN);
- Business knowledge of customs procedures and processes, preferably related to the international goods supply chain;
- Knowledge and experience in tools supporting the IT process, service and data analysis activities including ARIS ;
- Ability to understand the business scope of the project, related legislation, business process descriptions, functional architecture and capacity to follow discussion with business stakeholders and understand their impact on the project scope, definition and defined timelines;
- Experience of large scale systems integration projects is required; this same type of experience within Taxation, Excise or Customs environment is an important asset;
- Excellent command of the English language.

Responsibilities:
- Produce and maintain artefacts related to requirement analysis, specification and design;
- Contribute to or carry out change request impact assessment;
- Prepare and participate to the required trainings, missions, conference calls, and subsequent review of the related material;
- Regularly report to the project manager on all project related analysis and design activities;
- Follow up the design, development and testing activities delivered or performed by the external contractor;
- Review the deliverables produced by the external contractor and validate the required level of quality of their work.
