IT Analyst II - DevOps/App Support

The Department of Government Operations, Division of Technology Services (DTS) is currently seeking an experienced IT Analyst II - DevOps/App Support member. This individual will assist with administration and support responsibilities for DABS on-prem and cloud (Azure) environments. Responsibilities include:

• Support of an Azure Dynamics 365 environment, a Data Warehouse, and hosts running DABS applications in the Azure cloud.
• Support of various ancillary applications surrounding warehouse and retail operations. These applications include COTS and custom-developed applications.
• Provide administration and support of remaining agency on-prem servers and applications (Windows-based OS, MSSQL, .Net, in-house developed applications), upgrading to newer OS and SQL versions, and the migration of agency on-prem servers and applications to Azure Cloud Services.
• Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders, translate them into technical specifications, and collaborate with the development team to ensure solutions align with business needs.
• Assist the development team in configuring and deploying Azure Pipelines (CI/CD).
• Support of a back-office environment at 50 stores where small local DB’s are maintained for offline functionality.
• Provide DBA and Azure support as needed.
• Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders, translate them into technical specifications, and collaborate with the development team to ensure solutions align with business needs.
• Configuring, monitoring, and alerting of various services so that technical groups are aware of pending issues.
• Support of a back-office environment at 50 stores where small DB’s are maintained for each store for offline functionality.
