IT Application Developer - Boomi

Delivers and builds on existing investments with Boomi and EDI.

• Responsible for creating and maintaining formal data structures, data description and data architecture; this can include data models, data definitions, data flow diagrams, data dictionaries, etc.
• Develop Interfaces using Dell Boomi middleware technologies
• Design, develop and support company enterprise solution integrations and EDI
• Work with peers and Subject Matter Experts to create end to end detailed integration solutions
• Problem solving/root cause analysis/analytical skills responsibilities
• Work closely with enterprise architect to ensure that solutions are developed using best practices, and follow standard software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies
• Develop estimates for projects
• Work closely with other developers in the team, business analyst, QA analyst and project managers.
• Documents technical requirements by working with the IT Business Analysts, Architecture manager and/or business users
• Completes development tasks assigned according to the project plan and communicates updates, obstacles and status accordingly.
• Assists in developing prototypes
• Follows defined technical and development standards and best practices
• Executes application testing plans, documents and resolves as needed
• Creates and maintains application documentation
• Resolves application issues as needed
• Actively participates in application design sessions
• Assists with other duties as assigned

Required Skills

• Worked on Implementations of Boomi Processes
• Good knowledge of EDI
• Experience as tech lead in a major enterprise integration initiative

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Science, or related field is required; consideration given for related technical experience
• Must have Integration experience with Salesforce and Netsuite or any ERP in general with experience in EDI
• Good Hands on experience in Error Handling in integration platform (Dell Boomi)
• Hands-on experience designing and developing inbound and outbound integrations with Oracle EBS (E Business Suite) is a plus
• Good SQL, PL/SQL development skills
• Good SOA architecture understanding
• Strong knowledge of modern API based middleware architectures
• Minimum of 3-5 years of system integration using Boomi
• Strong integration experience of 2-5 years
• Strong integration technical skills with hands on design, development, testing and deployment in enterprise applications
• Experience developing SOAP and REST based web services
• 2+ years of developing solutions and supporting projects from requirements gathering to release management
• Manage multiple assignments and deadlines
• Dell Boomi certification preferred, but not required
