Description:
SUMMARY:
As the E-commerce Web & App IT Solution Owner, you will lead the development, integration, and optimization of our e-commerce platforms, bridging the gap between our online and brick-and-mortar retail presence. You will act as the subject matter expert for our e-commerce ecosystem, ensuring seamless system integration, effective vendor management, and exceptional customer experiences across all touchpoints.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- 5+ years of experience in e-commerce (web, App) project management, preferably in a retail environment with both online and offline channels.
- Proven track record of leading complex projects and managing vendor relationships.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, web and app technologies, system integration methodologies, and industry standards.
- Excellent IT project management skills, including experience with Agile/Waterfall methodologies and tools (JIRA, Asana).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external vendors.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud and Google Firebase.
- Knowledge of retail operations, customer behavior, and e-commerce trends.
- Certification in project management (PMP, Agile Certified Practitioner).
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Lead and execute e-commerce projects from conception to launch, defining scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Technical Integration: Oversee the integration of e-commerce platforms with backend systems (inventory, order fulfillment, CRM, ERP, Payment Service Providers).
- eCommerce Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire lifecycle of the eCommerce Web and App ecosystem, from initial implementation and configuration to ongoing maintenance, upgrades, troubleshooting, and support.
- Vendor Management: Build and manage relationships with key vendors, ensuring deliverables meet quality and timeline standards.
- Technical Expertise: Serve as the subject matter expert for e-commerce web and app technologies, providing guidance to internal teams and vendors.
- Continuously analyze platform performance and implement optimizations to enhance user experience and business outcomes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement an omnichannel strategy that integrates e-commerce with brick-and-mortar operations.
