POSITION OVERVIEW

TDI Luxembourg is seeking for an IT Asset Owner, to strengthen the team that is responsible for managing the application portfolio and its corresponding lifecycle.
Overall Responsibility:
TDI Luxembourg as part of the Banks IT department, mainly provides third level application support and management to different clients and business lines across Deutsche Bank. In essence, it’s the heart of the applications being provided to the bank based on technology and business requirements.
We are looking for a self-paced character, who will be joining the IT department and will cover related key IT roles with various interfaces to other business and technology teams. The focus will be on the Information Technology Application Owner (ITAO) role, a fundamental IT role that is anchored in various key IT policies and processes of Deutsche Bank. First and foremost, the ITAO will be responsible for a set of Business Applications, associated Configuration Items, and related IT Services. The future role holder is responsible for the lifecycle management of Deutsche Bank Luxembourg business applications, which is based on the SDLC process. Coordination with internal and external service providers as well as maintaining the balance between business and technical teams, should be of the main talents of the potential candidate.

Detailed Responsibilities:

  • Assume ownership and responsibility of the assigned application assets and services within TDI Luxembourg and support regular risk assessments for your IT assets and ensure, that policy-aligned IT Procedures with necessary specific controls are implemented. Focus is on Anti-Financial-Crime related applications.
  • Foster stability, security, and robustness of the deployed IT applications, with a state-of-the-art design and innovative solutions focusing on internal users, external clients, and regulatory requirements.
  • All our IT assets are based on Software Delivery Lifecycle (SDLC) to allow proper control of compliance throughout every stage in the lifecycle. TDI Private Bank Luxembourg is mainly working according to the agile process. Due to the nature of providing service to different department there might be differences in the model.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for the owned applications by maintaining internal and external audits.
  • Collaborate with the application vendor support teams and account managers as well as with role holders of other instances within Deutsche Bank globally.

Experience and Education :

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university (or equivalent Diploma) preferred and/or 3+ years professional experience in related IT application support areas. Knowledge of Luxembourg regulations and experience in the Luxembourg financial sector would be welcomed.
  • Very good knowledge of Windows and Unix server systems, good knowledge of banking applications in the anti-financial-crime context and first steps in agile collaboration would be considered an advantage.
  • Ability to understand source code of programming languages and database queries, programming skills of such would be beneficial.
  • Excellent analytical skills, problem solving, open minded, able to share information, transfer knowledge and expertise to team members and ability to handle multiple topics simultaneously.
  • Fluent in English (written/verbal), German is considered an advantage.
