Description:
IT-ARCHITECT AND ENGINEER FOR E-COMMERCE-SYSTEMS (SHOPWARE) (M/F/D) – FULL - TIME (CONTRACTUAL)
Start: as of now | Location: Jodpur (Rajasthan, India)
Your Responsibilities – The Craft of Your Role
- You share responsibility for the implementation and configuration of Shopware-based e-commerce systems
- Develop and integrate thirdparty tools and services, such as payment gateways, CRM systems, ERP systems, and PIM (Product Information Management) systems
- You customize and develop plugins, modules, and interfaces for Shopware to meet specific business requirements
- You are responsible for the optimal performance of the e-commerce system through continuous monitoring and performance tuning
- You implement security standards and protocols to protect the e-commerce platform from threats.
- You manage and optimize product data, customer information, and transaction data within the Shopware platform
- You provide technical support and perform regular maintenance of the system, including updates and patches for Shopware
- You lead and coordinate projects, including scheduling, resource management, and communication with stakeholders
- You train internal teams and clients in the use and management of the Shopware platform
- Design and plan robust and scalable architectures for e-commerce systems based on Shopware, aligned with IT strategy
Your Profile – Made of the Right Stuff
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required. A master’s degree or specialized certifications in e-commerce or IT architecture is a plus
- At least 3-5 years of experience in e-commerce system development and architecture, preferably with a focus on Shopware
- You have strong analytical skills to solve complex technical challenges
- You are able to clearly and effectively communicate technical details to non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to work in an interdisciplinary team and collaborate on solutions

- You have extensive experience with Shopware 6 (and earlier versions), including plugin development and theme customization
- You have strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQ
- You are experienced with relational databases, particularly MySQL/MariaDB
- Experience with RESTful APIs and other web services for third-party integrations
- You are familiar with version control systems like Git
- Knowledge of SSL/TLS, OWASP, and other best practices for e-commerce security
Certifications (optional but advantageous):
- Shopware Certified Developer
- Shopware Certified Template Designer
