Description:
POSITION SUMMARY
The IT Architecture and Security Analyst is responsible for conducting research, analysis, design, documentation, and implementation of the technology components that support Red Deer Polytechnic operations. The incumbent will develop infrastructure architectures that align with business objectives while ensuring scalability, reliability, security, and compliance. This position makes decisions regarding technology selection, architecture design, capacity planning, performance optimization, and security measures.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Four (4) year undergraduate degree, or three (3) year undergraduate degree plus one full additional year of university in a related program representing four years of study or equivalent.
- Engineering, Computer Science, or a comparable equivalent combination of Diploma and 10 years of IT design experience may be considered.
- 5+ years previous job-related experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) certification
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification
