Description:
Overview
The SOS International LLC (SOSi) team is growing in Europe and we are seeking an experienced IT Asset Manager to support an IT program based in Wiesbaden, Germany. SOSi is a family-owned government contractor with a long history of providing technical solutions to customers performing challenging missions.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- In scope DOD Secret clearance is required.
- A Bachelor’s degree plus 3 years of recent specialized experience, OR; An Associate’s degree plus 7 years of recent specialized experience, OR; A major certification plus 7 years of recent specialized experience, OR; 11 years of recent specialized experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience with Asset Management, or Life Cycle Maintenance of IT software/hardware required.
- Must be approved by the USG and qualify as a Technical Expert under the U.S. SOFA in Germany.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- DoD 8570.01 IAT level II (or higher) compliant
- Fluency in a foreign language is desirable, but not required.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for maintenance of accurate asset management records for all IT hardware and software.
- Utilize an existing Government system to track all IT hardware and software assets within each domain.
- Assist domain property managers with maintenance of domain IT asset property accountability for all domain IT assets.
- Ensure efficient and effective receipt, storage, issue, delivery, and turn-in of equipment and software.
- Support the existing request, approval, delivery, and excess process for each domain-level activity.
- Provide hand receipts for moved, deployed, or issued IT equipment in accordance with domain-level policies.
- Electronically scan all equipment moved with the domain-level activity for any issuance, delivery, relocation, and excess activities.
- Track maintenance and support renewals and expirations and ensure that maintenance contracts remain in good standing with no lapses in continuous coverage.
- Compile and maintain inventory of IT system assets and their corresponding contracts/agreements.
- Other duties as required.
