Description:
LOCATION: BRISTOL, EDINBURGH, LONDON, MONAGHAN (HYBRID)
This is a hybrid position primarily based in one of our Bristol, Edinburgh, London or Monaghan offices. We’re committed to your flexibility and wellbeing and our hybrid strategy currently requires three days a week in the office, giving you the option to work remotely for some of your working week. Responsibilities:
A ROLE YOU WILL LOVE
We are a busy team and operate in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, so you will be readily adaptable and prioritise self-learning and development. You will also be required to be inquisitive and show a strong passion for what you do and financial services.
Reporting to a Business Analyst Team Lead, you will agree a personal career plan to promote your strengths and support your development needs. You will have opportunities to progress in several different directions, including progression as an increasingly senior Business Analyst, or other roles within the organisation .
Some other key responsibilities:
- Write high quality, clear User Stories.
- Provide vision to the team for items on Product Backlog.
- Support estimates for User Stories based on the relative sizing scale used in your team.
- Run effective stakeholder workshops – always looking to keep things interactive and fun!
- Become a domain expert within your business line and associated systems.
- Ensure backlog is balanced and represents items demanded across multiple business units.
- Help define Minimum Viable Products, and deliver small, independently usable features.
- Promote a learning culture, and mentor less experienced team members.
- Share new ideas with the delivery community through meetings and blog posts.
- Work with Business Owner to constantly maintain a prioritised Product Backlog.

You will demonstrate previous experience as an IT Business Analyst and have a clear passion for financial services.
