ABOUT THE ROLE

The position is with Essity’s Global IT Services, which is part of our Global Digital & Business Services business unit, which provides shared services to the rest of the Essity organization and is key to driving operational efficiencies across the company. The role will preferably be in Aschheim /Munich (Germany) or Gothenburg (Sweden).
We are looking for an IT Business Analyst (f/m/d) in the Product Lifecycle Management area to contribute to the overall growth of our business by boosting our Research & Development IT-solutions.
You will define necessary technology services (systems scope, objectives and functionality) to the business, based on IT Strategy and customer needs and an understanding of business processes and industry requirements.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

In this role, you will manage diverse IT solutions related to the product lifecycle portfolio such as Laboratory Information Management, IP Management, Quality Management, Product development, Regulatory documentation, Artwork Management, CAD solutions, SAP Product specification and Recipe development. These solutions are either SAP based (S/4 and ECC), or other best in class or special software solutions.

For our current solutions, you will be responsible for :

• Service Level Agreements: Own and ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) for various IT solutions.
• Support coordination: Coordinate internal support and manage external contractors/partners within the support structure.
• Budgeting and licensing: Assist cost block owners with budgeting and ordering licenses/consultancy services for IT solutions.
• Gathering requirements: Conduct workshops and key meetings to capture business requirements, perform as-is analysis, and develop comprehensive requirement specifications.
• Roadmap delivery: Collaborate with other IT solutions teams to drive the delivery of the IT product roadmap.

Implementing new solutions, you will:

• Assess requirements: Support IT Architects in evaluating current capabilities and identifying high-level business needs, continuously review and refine requirements and specifications.
• Develop business cases: Create business cases and assist in prioritization, considering technology’s business impact.
• Define metrics: Collaborate with project managers, architects, and developers to set metrics and performance goals.
• Conduct training and coach: Organize and conduct end-user training sessions. Coach and mentor less experienced team members, collaborating with developers and subject matter experts to balance usability and performance.
