We are seeking an experienced professional to join the APAC GM & ALMT IT TP Engineering team. This role involves managing trade processing and regulatory projects, providing functional expertise in regulatory reporting, and fostering strong stakeholder relationships across APAC business and support teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a functional expert on Asia region regulatory reporting requirements, including transaction reporting.
  • Maintain strong functional knowledge of GM business and regulatory regimes in APAC.
  • Manage APAC regulatory and transversal projects from scoping to implementation.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with APAC business units and support teams, including Operations and Finance.
  • Deliver strategic solutions to enhance efficiency, automation, and control, reducing risk.
  • Develop and communicate a clear vision of target processes, including innovation and digital transformation.
  • Provide end-to-end project management, including scoping, execution, testing, and implementation.
  • Conduct thorough domain studies and define architecture and solutions.
  • Act as a subject matter expert, performing detailed analysis and offering functional support.
  • Plan and coordinate UAT, manage change, and support go-live activities.
  • Collaborate with regional and central IT teams and clients in a matrix environment.
  • Regularly update project sponsors and stakeholders, contribute to governance meetings, and document meeting minutes.
  • Work with development teams to ensure timely delivery of IT solutions tailored to APAC requirements.
  • Identify and escalate risks/issues, proposing solutions to mitigate challenges.
  • Provide tactical and strategic solutions in tight timelines, collaborating with stakeholders.
  • Train business users and support teams, preparing support documents on wiki/SharePoint.
  • Contribute to team development and knowledge sharing.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 10-12 years of experience in financial services and/or regulatory reporting.
  • Strong understanding of Capital Market deal flows, particularly FICC instruments (FX, Deposits, Rates, Options, derivatives).
  • Knowledge of Investment Banking and Corporate Banking product and processing workflows.
  • Experience with global technical project integration.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and conflicting requests.
  • Experience working with internal and external technical teams/vendors.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially in a front-office setting.
  • Knowledge of APAC banking regulatory environment is a plus.
  • Experience in banking environments and understanding of banking IT ecosystems.
  • Proficiency in English, with the ability to conduct meetings and presentations.
  • Willingness to travel internationally if required.
