Description:
IT BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
Salary: £40,000 Basic, plus Uncapped Commission
Hours: 40 hours per week
Holiday: 25 days increasing to 30 days with service
Location: Carlisle, Cumbria
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a minimum of 2 years’ MSP experience.
Proven sales experience in a similar role.
Excellent communication skills.
The ability to use your own initiative to remain competitive in the market.
Self-motivated and hardworking individual.
Proven experience of working with and exceeding targets.
Confident with both telephone and face to face interaction with clients.
Financially and target driven.
Exceptional attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
THE ROLE:
We are looking for an individual to join the IT sales team at Gemini, part of the Global 4 Group, this follows a period of rapid expansion within a relatively new but highly successful IT MSP division.
As a new business role, the ideal applicant will have a minimum of 2 years MSP experience and be proficient in generating opportunities from scratch, this will be supported and strengthened by a healthy rate of lead passing from Global 4 colleagues
Reporting directly to the Head of IT sales, this is a fantastic opportunity for a driven individual to join us at a time of rapid expansion with the chance to influence the team and progress as it grows.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
To deliver advice and generate sales using a consultative approach with customers and prospects.
Comfortable dealing with business owners and decision makers from SMB to Enterprise.
Experience in selling managed IT services on a fully outsourced or co-managed basis.
Up to date knowledge and track record of selling Microsoft cloud solutions (365 & Azure).
Experience in selling cyber security solutions such as endpoint protection, XDR/MDR, Web/DNS filtering, firewall, penetration testing & dark web scanning.
Ability to generate business using favoured prospecting methods (networking, social media etc).
