Responsibilities:

PURPOSE

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented IT Business Intelligence Data Analyst with a strong foundation in Excel and data interpretation skills. The ideal candidate will have experience in vehicle repair processes and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. This role is central to our business, focusing on gathering and analysing data to drive informed decision-making and optimise our processes.

ROLE PROFILE AND PERSON SPECIFICATION

Data Analysis & Interpretation:

  • Utilise our tools to manage, analyse, and visualise data
  • Extract meaningful insights from data related to vehicle repair processes and other operational areas
  • Provide regular reports and updates based on data analysis

Dashboard Design & Development:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements for dashboards and reporting
  • Design, build, and maintain dashboards in Power BI, ensuring they meet the business’s evolving needs
  • Manage change requests, iterating on designs and dashboards based on feedback

Technical Development & Support:

  • Leverage SQL for data extraction and manipulation (training provided)
  • Continuously learn and implement new techniques and technologies to enhance data analysis and reporting capabilities.
  • Participate in training programs to deepen expertise in SQL, Power BI, and other relevant tools

Technical Proficiency:

  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and data visualisation tools
  • Basic understanding of SQL and willingness to learn and grow in this area
  • Experience with Power BI is highly desirable but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
