HOURS: FULL TIME - 35 HOURS PER WEEK/ 70 HOURS OVER TWO WEEKS (NINE-DAY FORTNIGHT)

It’s an exciting time to join our IT team, following a new structure design, we have several opportunities which will help support and shape our IT systems & service delivery and achieve our vision. We are investing in our people, processes and systems to change and evolve our ways of working, taking advantage of the latest systems and technology.
As IT Business Partner you will play a key role in ensuring the IT service meets business needs and adds significant value. Taking ownership of the end-to-end IT solutions supporting the business. Building relationships with stakeholders, you will act as the single point of contact for all aspects of IT strategy, delivery, service enhancement and change management. Identifying opportunities for process improvements, system enhancements and key business requirements.
You will liaise with operational teams and the wider IT team to design, deliver and embed requirements, focussing on efficiencies and customer service excellence. Working with Business Analysts, Project Managers and the wider IT team to ensure a smooth delivery. You’ll be experienced in change management; working with the business to prepare them for the change and to ensure solutions are embedded and are fit for purpose, you will measure and report the return on investment.
This is a home-based role, with occasional travel required to our Head Office in Birmingham

Responsibilities:

  • Ability to build strong and trusted relationships with the business
  • Experience and understanding of prioritisation of a backlog of business requests based upon on value, time, risk and other team dependencies and holistic IT and Business systems activities
  • Ability to understand and articulate change impact, the importance of readiness for change to stakeholders throughout the delivery and service lifecycle
  • Advocating good governance and prioritisation across the holistic requirements of all our stakeholders within the partnering team
  • Experience of strategic planning of further system investment
  • Leading business case development
  • Actively supporting the alignment of strategic and operational objectives of the business with the IT strategy
  • Experience of managing relationships with external providers
  • Highly organised, delivery and service focussed, able to manage multiple priorities
  • Knowledge of project management technique
