Description:

We are looking for a IT Contract Management Expert (x|f|m) for the IT Sourcing & Vendor Management at Sartorius Corporate Administration GmbH. At a high level of responsibility you will act as the interface with the Legal department. With a thorough understanding of the legal and contractual aspects in IT vendor relationship management, the Contract Manager (x|f|m) ensures short cycle times in the contracting processes with vendors and comes up with process improvements to further accelerate the contracting lead times. We are looking forward to shaping the future with you. This position is available for either part-time or full-time. It is a hybrid role requiring some days on site at our headquarters in Göttingen with the opportunity to work some days remotely.

  • Global harmonization of the contract management approach for IT procurement including responsibility for the process, the templates to be used and the supporting tool environment to be set up
  • You will be responsible for monitoring the procurement status in relation to contract management and increasing the contract coverage rate
  • Revising and renegotiating existing contracts
  • Reviewing and adapting new contracts and coordinating with the respective suppliers
  • Contract negotiations with product, material and service providers
  • Direct contribution to contract conclusions in close cooperation with the vendor account managers
  • Internal coordination of contract content with the contract owners and our legal department

What will convince us

  • Successfully completed studies with a business focus, such as (international) business management, preferably also with a legal background
  • Several years of proven experience in contract management for IT suppliers and in complex contract negotiations
  • Industry background plus several years of experience in drafting contracts and defining general terms and conditions
  • Thorough understanding of the legal aspects of B2B contracts (international law), the business consequences and potential impact of contractual terms and conditions
  • Familiar with the preparation and evaluation of other contract elements such as statements of work, bills of quantities, etc.
  • Good understanding of the specifics of supplier management
  • Meticulous and independent working style, a good eye for detail, strong networking skills and assertiveness
  • Very good German and English skills round off your profile
