Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept It:
As our next IT Coordinator, you’ll play a pivotal role in maintaining and managing our information technology systems. Your responsibilities will include implementing protocols, advising on IT choices, providing technical support, coordinating software and hardware installations, monitoring system performance, and ensuring compliance with IT standards. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and effective end-user support will be key to your success in this role.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Installation and configuration of divisional software and hardware, including PCs for network use.
  • Providing network and phone access to all employees and educating them on network usage and protocols.
  • Install, troubleshoot, and support Windows NT and Windows 2000 operating systems.
  • Provide end-user support and training as required.
  • Managing corporate cell phone allocation and IT purchases for the facility.
  • Implementing IT-related projects, both software and hardware, and coordinating with corporate IT for integrated support.
  • Ensure security of data, network access, and backup systems.
  • Recommending IT strategies, policies, and procedures based on evaluation and anticipating requirements.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with customer-required software/business-to-business applications, including reports to management on resource requirements and training.
  • Work in compliance with Johnson Electric FPS Quality, Safety & Environmental Systems.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Degree in business or computer-related studies or an appropriate combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Expert in Windows 7, 10.
  • Knowledge of Zscaler Office Platform is an asset.
  • Expert in Windows Server 2008/2012, Hyper-V, and Active Directory is an asset.
  • Familiar with manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally, at all levels of the organization.
  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation.
  • Off shift support may be required at times either remotely or onsite depending on the nature of the issue.
