Help
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary Organizational Information Systems Security Manager (O-ISSM) and cybersecurity subject matter expert for the Installation Management Command Directorate Europe (IMCOM-E).
- Provide oversight, guidance and/or support to IMCOM-E HQ and subordinate US Army Garrisons and/or Army Support Activity groups in accordance with the Directorate’s cybersecurity program.
- Evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of IMCOM-E cybersecurity readiness, recommending changes and implementing changes as directed.
- Initiate and/or direct staff studies for cybersecurity resource problems and/or inadequacies.
- Ensure all Information Systems, Platform IT, and commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) and/or government off-the-shelf software within the area of responsibility are properly certified and accredited.
- Provide oversight for all aspects of Risk Management Framework accreditations for all IMCOM-E Garrisons.
- Serve as an subject matter expert for Garrison Mission Information Systems configuration control and/or IMCOM-E IT Governance boards.
- Advise leadership on all cybersecurity matters to include analysis and reporting of deficiencies and recommendation for improvement.
- Conduct operational tests, surveys, and/or evaluations to determine the extent of cybersecurity compliance.
- Analyze requirements for cybersecurity services and related support within the area of operations.
