Responsibilities:

ABOUT YOUR FUTURE ROLE

As the IT Development Manager, you will lead and manager teams responsible for architecture, development, and migration, ensuring seamless collaboration and delivery of robust and scalable Account Management Service (AMS) solutions used by our customers across Europe.
This role is based in our office in Helsinki, while some of your colleagues are located in other countries across the globe.
Your key responsibilities in this role will be:

YOU WILL BE IN A CRITICAL POSITION TO ENSURE THE DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF STRATEGIC SOLUTIONS TO CUSTOMERS ACROSS EUROPE. YOU WILL EXCEL IN THE ROLE WITH YOUR LEADERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT QUALITIES, AND EXPECT RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE TO INCLUDE:

  • Lead diverse and cross-functional teams focused on solution and system architecture, development, and data migration.
  • Manage people, vendors, and stakeholders, ensuring high performance and engagement.
  • Oversee the design and implementation, guaranteeing quality and efficiency.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement, in alignment with organizational goals.
  • Foster a collaborative environment to guaranteeing effective co-operation among teams.

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Foundational knowledge of technology and IT operations and hands-on experience for example as an Architect or Developer.
  • 5+ years of experience as a manager in Tech. - preferably in the FinTech industry.
  • Proven results in delivering effectively in high paced and agile environments.
  • Financial acumen through experience of financial management of technical projects.
  • Experience in vendor management and sourcing in a multi-cultural environment
