Description:

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 7+ years of experience in IT
  • Proven ability to deliver IT solutions in a regulated environment, with experience leading large-scale initiatives
  • Understanding of the software development lifecycle and methodologies. Experience with Agile / Scrum delivery practices
  • Experience with eCommerce
  • Well organized and capable of managing multiple priorities
  • Strong people management experience leading global teams
  • Mentors team members in technology, architecture, and delivery of solutions
  • Proven experience developing and maintaining a strong relationship with IT partners, and software vendors
  • Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to effectively communicate with executive leadership
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, self-directed, action-oriented environment
  • Self-starter with strong, proactive work ethic and fast learner
  • Able to work on a team, in person, and in a collaborative virtual setting
  • Desired English level 80% or above

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are looking for an IT Manager who will be a key leader in our Digital Commerce program, with immediate focus on providing global solutions for our Digital Commerce business capabilities and applications (SAP Commerce Cloud platform). This is a highly visible and strategic role that will support the delivery of this rapidly expanding domain and shape the strategic direction in line with our roadmap.
This role is responsible for our SAP Commerce Cloud platform strategy, delivery, execution, governance, and operations. In addition, this role will manage the IT Digital Commerce product team as a people leader, and support vendor relationships, contracting, and budgeting processes.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Establish and maintain a strategic IT solution vision, technology roadmap, and principles for our Digital Commerce platforms, aligned to business priorities and value goals.
  • Supports delivery of multiple large, complex, cross-functional divisional and global projects, and product releases. Manages tasks, issues, risks, and action items. Ensures the proper use of collaborative, agile processes and removes impediments for the product team.
  • Leads across cross-functional teams to ensure data quality, overall end-to-end process, and positive streamlined user experience. Ensures deliverables meet or exceed service-level expectations for quality, timeliness, performance and budget.
  • Works collaboratively, effectively, and efficiently with stakeholders to ensure alignment and prioritization of goals and resources across multiple stakeholders, project priorities, and organizational initiatives.
  • Requires the ability to change the thinking of, or gain acceptance of, others in sensitive situations.
  • Manages platform demand, prioritization and governance. Maintains a validated systems operations state in accordance with internal Software Validation procedures.
  • Responsible for ongoing support and delivering on future enhancements, monitoring progress and performance, and helping the product team make improvements.
  • Maintains high level of awareness and understanding of existing and emerging Digital Commerce technologies.
  • Responsible for providing regular updates to IT and business executives regarding the strategic vision and execution status.
  • Responsible for staffing and developing high performing product teams comprised of scrum masters, analysts, architects, and developers. Devotes a significant portion of time to managerial, leadership and employee development responsibilities.
  • Fosters a diverse workplace that enables all participants to contribute to their full potential in pursuit of organizational objectives.
  • Manages relationships with software vendors, and influences their product roadmap. Manages relationships with software implementation and staffing vendors. Negotiates and executes contracts with vendors.Develops and manages to budgets, schedules and performance standards, and tracking accountability of team to objectives. Develops business cases and funding requests for new investments to support business and IT vision and objectives.
