ROLE PURPOSE

The IT & Digital Project & Portfolio Lead is responsible for managing and optimizing the organization’s portfolio of IT and digital projects, programs, and initiatives. This role involves aligning technology investments with business strategy, prioritizing projects, and ensuring the efficient use of resources to maximize value delivery.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Portfolio Strategy and Governance:
• Develop and maintain the IT and digital portfolio strategy in alignment with organizational goals.
• Establish and enforce portfolio governance frameworks and processes.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards across the portfolio.
• Project and Program Oversight:
• Oversee the selection, prioritization, and sequencing of IT and digital projects and programs.
• Monitor the progress and performance of ongoing initiatives within the portfolio.
• Manage dependencies and conflicts between different projects and programs.
• Resource Management:
• Optimize resource allocation across the portfolio to ensure efficient utilization.
• Collaborate with project managers and department heads to balance resource demands.
• Performance Measurement and Reporting:
• Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the portfolio.
• Prepare regular reports on portfolio performance for senior management and stakeholders.
• Conduct portfolio reviews and make recommendations for optimization.
• Stakeholder Management:
• Engage with senior leadership to align portfolio strategy with business objectives.
• Communicate portfolio status, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders at all levels.
• Facilitate decision-making processes regarding project prioritization and resource allocation.
