Position: IT Engineer
Qualification: 3 Level Qualification in a Software/IT/Computer Science discipline
Location: Office based, Dundalk location, Co Louth, Ireland.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS / ATTRIBUTES AND EXPERIENCE

• 2/3 Years experience with Microsoft 365 Platform.
• Excellent knowledge of Windows 10/11 Operating Systems.
• Strong understanding of Networks, Firewalls and VPNs.
• General experience with IT Hardware/Software issues.
• Ability to manage time independently, tasked with short term reactionary duties as well as long term strategic projects
• Proven track record of delivering tasks and projects through to completion.
• Ability to perform in a fast paced rapidly growing organisation.

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE

• Knowledge of Jira Service Management platform would be beneficial.
• Hands on experience with Microsoft Azure Infrastructure.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or working to achieve are a plus.

Responsibilities will include:

• Assist with day-to-day IT operations.
• Provide IT support to all XOCEAN users and escalate issues when necessary.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and peripherals to identify issue root causes.
• Document support activities, including resolutions, troubleshooting steps, and change management requests.
• Configure and maintain PCs and IT Hardware onboard USV’s.
• Assisting R&D Team with development items.
• Prepare and maintain documentation on all projects.
