We’re looking for an IT Field Technician to join our team! This is an on-site role with daily in-person interaction with various clients, both in-house and at client locations. As an IT Field Technician, you’ll work directly with clients and end users to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair computer systems, hardware, and computer peripherals. You will also perform upgrades, replace hardware, and handle software installations, including data migration and application reinstallation. Your ability to build strong relationships and communicate technical solutions clearly and confidently will ensure clients feel supported and informed throughout the deployment process.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2-3 years of experience as an IT Support role is required.
- Post-secondary education in a computer-related program or an equivalent combination of education and experience is an asset.
- Comfortable working on-site in customer business locations.
- Strong customer service focus and ability to build positive client relationships.
- Hands-on experience supporting Windows operating systems, platforms, and devices.
- Experience with PXE or server based imaging tools to install base Windows 11 images onto new computers; familiarity with User State Migration Tool (USMT) or similar imaging tools is an asset.
- Proficiency in MS-Windows administration and core elements such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 platform.
- Basic exposure to network components including switches, firewalls, and Wi-Fi access points.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective organizational and time management abilities.
- Self-starter and able to work with minimal supervision, with willingness to work independently in remote locations for extended periods of time.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid Manitoba driver’s license and willing to travel throughout the province by vehicle or airplane.
- Willingness to complete background checks and various security clearance as required by customer business needs.
- Ability to stay overnight for rural deployments, if required.
- Meet the physical requirements of the position including lifting, carrying up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and offer break/fix support with desktops and laptops, both in-house and at client locations.
- Conduct on-site assessments and assist with troubleshooting during network outages.
- Imaging laptops and desktops with Windows 11, ensuring all user data and applications are properly backed up and restored.
- On-site deployment of new equipment at customer offices, including data migration and user setup.
- Set up and configure printer, scanner and other peripheral in client environments.
- Provide on-site support to senior network technicians during project rollouts and new client onboarding.
