SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Technical education, aptitude and experience, with a strong willingness to learn
  • A+ hardware & software certification
  • Some printer knowledge would be an asset
  • BC Security license is desired but not required
  • Knowledge of and experience with CCTV, Access Control and Alarms an asset
  • Well organized and possess the capability to prioritize workload
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Able to manage challenging technical issues
  • Team player, with the ability to work independently
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Must pass a criminal background record check
  • Must have a valid BC driver’s license

Responsibilities

  • Participate in projects of varying types such as setting up integrated security solutions, network patching, workstation refreshes, and workstation reimaging
  • Initiate contact with clients to schedule appointments for troubleshooting/fix process
  • Inform clients of the nature of the issue, outline the steps for the fix and communicate all quotes and costs associated
  • Gather information and assess, through fundamental troubleshooting, the nature of the call and respond accordingly
  • Examine and document the system environment for issues
  • Perform parts removal, replacement and post troubleshoot
  • Triage call queue and prioritize calls based on SLA (Service Level Agreement) or urgency
  • Respond to unscheduled calls
  • Assist other teammates with calls as needed

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year

Responsibilities:

OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE

Tecnet is looking for an individual to work with our Field Services Team who has outstanding customer service skills, troubleshooting capabilities, problem-solving skills and technical expertise. This position requires punctuality, a high degree of accuracy, good teamwork skills and the ability to manage tight deadlines.
