Job: EQD IT Analyst / IT FO Support

• IT & Information systems consulting: Business Analysis, Project Management, Change management, Front Office Support (functional and technical), Development (e.g C++, Python, C#, Java, VBA), Financial Softwares (e.g. Sophis, Murex, Summit, Calypso), IT Transformation & Innovation.

As part of Quanteam Group, Quanteam UK (incorporated in 2010) has today more than 80 consultants, working for major Capital Markets players in London.
About the Project:
Our client, a French Global Investment Bank, is seeking a new EQD IT Analyst for their ITO (Information Technology & Operations) team within the Global Market business area.

This role consists of managing the support of applications for the following desks:

• Index flow
• Emerging markets
• Commodities
• Equity financing
• Flow sales

REQUIREMENTS:

• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Programming skills for scripting or small development (Perl/ PHP/ Visual Basic/ Unix Shell Scripts/ C#/ Java)
• Relational database knowledge
• Must be able to thrive in a demanding front-office environment
• Highly motivated team player but also capable of working independently
• Strong knowledge of financial markets, derivative products (equities and commodities)
• Electronic trading support experience
• Knowledge of options and futures operations/clearing
• Knowledge of Citrix servers’ management

MAIN TASKS:

Setting of proprietary software for booking, pricing, and trading (manual and automation, market interface):
o Real-time settings
o Market data parameters
o Market access performance tuning
o Computation setup
Electronic execution matching, new releases deployment, bug reporting and new features or improvements requests to development teams.
