Description:

FM Conway is currently seeking an IT Help Desk Engineer to join our busy and thriving IT Team. As our IT Help Desk Engineer you will provide service desk support across the business. You will play a key role in implementing, administrating, and maintaining a variety of hardware, software and network products including all variants of Microsoft Windows. This is a permanent, full-time position based from our head office in Sevenoaks, Kent.

The duties of the IT Helpdesk Engineer role will include:

  • Maintaining and improving the company’s hardware, network and other computer equipment and records
  • Ensuring that the reliability and security of the system is always maintained
  • Monitoring the systems performance and undertaking maintenance and upgrades as required
  • Supporting other team members with their workload as required

WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE DO YOU NEED?

We are looking for a passionate IT Help Desk Engineer who has a strong understanding of PC hardware, peripheral devices and has basic network experience. You will have experience with Active Directory and password re-sets, Microsoft Office support, Office 365 and demonstrable experience of applying technology to benefit the business. It is essential you have an excellent understanding of Microsoft operation systems, Microsoft Office products and you will be educated to GCSE level. You may be required to attend site visits therefore, a driving licence is essential for this role.
