Description:

Our client needs an experienced Level 1 Helpdesk Support Analyst to join their team and assist with a range of duties and tasks, such as:

  • Providing frontline support to staff for desktop support, troubleshooting and resolving issues
  • Logging all requests for support and escalating any issues as required
  • Setting up new users, including set up of hardware, log-ins, email accounts
  • Handling administration surrounding inventory/stocktake, reporting
  • Any other related duties required by the leadership team

Our ideal candidate:

  • Can start immediately
  • Is already located in the South Canterbury/North Otago area
  • Is legally able to work in New Zealand
  • Is suitably qualified, eg: has a degree or diploma in information technology
  • Has proven experience in a similar role
  • Prioritises the customer/user experience
  • Has great written/oral communication skills

Technical requirements:

  • MS Windows and MS Office applications
  • Windows 11, Windows 10, Windows Server and MS Office 365
  • Sharepoint, Vinware, RDS and SQL Server
  • Ability to learn and become familiar with a range of modern IT systems running on various servers across WAN, VPN, WiFi, RDS, and Citrix connections
