QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • 10 or more years as Senior IT Manager with in-depth IT infrastructure knowledge of a manufacturing company within an international business environment
  • Proven track record as IT Project or Program Manager for IT infrastructure implementations within an international business environment
  • Demonstrated leadership on cross-functional IT initiatives, including close alignment with executive management on C-level
  • Microsoft Cloud certification is expected such as Azure, Intune, RealmJoin.
  • Excellent IT infrastructure knowledge in broad range of areas.
  • Advanced knowledge of existing and upcoming information technology solutions.
  • Curiosity and understanding for innovations in the field of IT as well as the competence to derive these and transfer them into a possible vision scenario.
  • Demonstrated initiative, creativity, strategic capabilities, and ability to work effectively in complex, rapidly changing environments.
  • Proven track record of effective people management including coaching, motivating and development planning in a multicultural environment.
  • Strong Change Management and communiction with the sites and within the IT organization.
  • Discipline to document and follow internal policies and procedures.
  • Leadership to manage global and diversified cultural team.
  • 20% for Domestic and International travel will be required.

Responsibilities:

  • Defining and implementing a global IT strategy in alignment with the Strategic Business Units and respective Corporate Function strategies
  • Drive together with all involved stakeholders (i.e. business functions, IT functions, IT service providers) the design, the implementation and the support of efficient, harmonized and cost-effective IT infrastructure solutions and services for all SBUs
  • Promote as Strategic Guide the continuous improvement of IT infrastructure solutions & services through communication of internal and external best practices and facilitate the best-practice sharing among other BGs
  • Scout and explore potential innovation opportunities (i.e. technology, systems, processes) and translate them into value-adding solutions for Freudenberg Medical (e.g. via prototyping)
  • Prepare, submit and manage the department budgets and capital ensure that all finance actuals are properly accounted for and ensure all IT infrastructure projects budgets are monitored as defined by project scope.
  • Management and control of the Microsoft Licenses for all products.
  • Promote cross-team collaboration within Corporate IT to enable our people to achieve the strategic objectives by agile methods
  • Assure that all deployed technologies will comply with regulatory requirements (data privacy laws, HIPAA, etc …)
  • Strong collaboration with the first level team to support their activities and provide the tools necessary for their operation.
