Following progression in the team, we’re looking for an Infrastructure Manager, this is a high visibility role where you’ll be responsible for the management of our IT environment.
Reporting directly to our Chief Architect in this oversight role, you’ll collaborate with our IT and development teams to streamline operations, improve efficiency, and enhance the overall performance of our systems and enterprise applications.

TECHNOLOGY KNOWLEDGE:
- Virtualisation – design, build, projects.
- Windows Server – migrations, domain upgrades etc.
- Experience of Cloud Platforms (Azure / AWS / GCP).
- Networking Infrastructure and Technologies.
- Security Operations – Firewalls, AV, Web filtering.
- Cyber Security – Vulnerability and Threat detection, Incident Response.
Responsibilities:
IN THIS VARIED ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
- The provision of effective Infrastructure and Application services ensuring stable delivery and availability of IT services.
- Service management of outsourced providers of Infrastructure and Application support services.
- Support our Chief Architects Office to ensure investment roadmap and plan allows for provision of operational technology that’s fit for purpose for the Business.
- Accountable for the access, security, continuity, management, and maintenance of all applications, technical (including networks, hardware, etc.) and telecoms infrastructure.
- Ensure applications and infrastructure architecture is kept up to date and in line with manufacturer support.
- Accountable for the overall testing of IT Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Systems.
- Responsible for verifying performance against agreed service level agreements.
- Manage and support the Firm’s software requirement.
- Work with IT Outsource provider to monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to improve reliability and scalability.
- Ensure compliance with security standards, data protection regulations, and best practices for continuous integration and deployment.
- Ensure all systems and processes are documented, enabling the firm to fulfil its regulatory and compliance needs.
THIS ROLE IS RIGHT FOR YOU IF:
- Considerable experience (Manager level) with IT operations and infrastructure management.
- Confident implementing continuous improvement practices within an organization or large service provider.
- Experience managing relationships with third-party vendors, service providers, and software suppliers to include effective contract management.
- Experience Implementing security best practices, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and managing risk within IT infrastructure.
- Impressive knowledge of incident, problem and change management to include disaster recovery and business continuity.
- Ability to identify areas for optimization, streamlining processes, and drive efficiency.
- Excellent troubleshooting and critical thinking skills to address technical issues and system failures promptly.
- Experience in root cause analysis and implementing effective solutions.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills gained with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and suppliers.
- Candidates with experience gained within a Legal, Professional or Financial Services environment will be preferred.
