Responsibilities:
OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
The IT Infrastructure Lead/ Engineer bridges IT and business, ensuring secure, resilient operations of IT systems and services. This role requires versatility in project management, documentation, solution design and support with a strong technical background and a focus on cybersecurity. Collaboration with internal and global teams, service providers, vendors and third parties is key.
Excellent communication skills and 3+ years in a similar lead role are essential. You will oversee hybrid infrastructure environments, working with an MSP to build capabilities and provide guidance.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee IT infrastructure, operating systems, and tools to ensure scalable, reliable platforms for business units.
- Plan, design, implement, maintain, and support networking, servers, telephony, communications, and cloud technologies.
- Enable and deliver IT strategy.
- Adapt systems to meet changing business needs.
- Implement and enforce IT policies, controls, and procedures.
- Identify and resolve issues in coordination with the IT Manager and stakeholders.
- Perform system audits and assessments.
- Enforce data protection and information security, including training and awareness.
- Collaborate with the service desk and outsourced IT providers.
