SUMMARY OF INTERNSHIP

The Budapest IT Center of Excellence Internship position provides an opportunity for IT & business-minded students who are currently pursuing a computer science, data science type degree to get hands on experience working with a team to take an intern role in the Budapest IT Center of Excellence. The Intern will take part in a rotation program to get to know the operational model of the various IT functions and will take part in the internally initiated projects and programs in an analyst role. The position starts from August, paid working 16-24 hours per week through. Opportunity exists for this position to continue through the academic year on a part-time basis to allow for class schedules.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Ability to work independently and as a member of a cross-functional team
• Experience in the following (not all mandatory):
• Experience with Cisco based networks, active or finished CCNA or CCST studies
• Interested in cloud-based technologies, like software defined networks, AWS, Azure
• Participate in daily Operation tasks, like resolving incidents, carry out changes.
• Participate in projects related to infrastructures improvements and new deployments
• Interested in virtualized environments hosted in VMWare, Azure or AWS
• Take part in reporting activities
• Willingness to learn, be mentored, and improve
• Desire to contribute ideas for existing processes
• Good communicational skills in English

QUALIFICATIONS

• Pursuing either bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, data science

• Take part in the IT rotation program between the Network and Server Reliability Engineering
• Take a project analyst role in the internal initiatives of the ITCOE
• Accept candid feedback and look for areas of improvements
• Active participation in the day-to-day support or Secure Infrastructure Systems
• Specific tasks will be tailored to the intern’s experience level and abilities
• The intern works under the close supervision of the leadership and team members
