  • We’re looking for a client services lead to be the front-door to technology services, to the rest of the organisation. As the IT Lead for our Client Services team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and oversight of day-to-day operations, ensuring the efficient and timely resolution of IT issues for end-users. This includes maintaining smooth operations, while addressing challenges promptly to keep the business running seamlessly.
  • This role requires strong technical expertise across digital technologies, including hardware, software, networking, and security protocols. You’ll leverage this knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, manage systems effectively, and support the organization’s evolving technology needs.
  • In addition to technical responsibilities, you will collaborate with both regional and global teams to deliver top-tier Digital Technology services to Arup colleagues and external clients. Your role will be critical in ensuring users experience the best possible support through multiple communication channels.
  • Furthermore, you will work closely with other IT departments to ensure alignment with company policies, assist with system upgrades, and help manage IT asset inventory. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential in driving team success and maintaining operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

IS THIS ROLE RIGHT FOR YOU?

  • Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of desktop support services in a Microsoft environment, including hardware, software, and infrastructure (e.g., patching and general network troubleshooting, VMware, UPS).
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • ITIL/Service Management Knowledge: Familiarity with ITIL processes or other IT service management frameworks to ensure effective and standardized IT service delivery across the organization.
  • Influence & Leadership: Ability to persuade and inspire through compelling communication and subject expertise, driving positive change and gaining support.
