Description:

REQUIREMENTS:

  • BA/BS in Computer Science
  • 3 - 5+ years of experience in corporate IT administrator/help desk support role
  • Experience with Windows Operating System and server management
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in VOIP/Digital phone system
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in SQL command and scripting
  • Self Starter, able to meet deadlines, problem-solve and troubleshoot
  • Experience working with SharePoint
  • Experience with server repair/installation, knowledge of main internal components of system, replacement of parts, ability to install software, operating systems and drivers
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work easily with others
  • Able to be on call after hours and provide weekend support as needed for upgrades & help desk

Responsibilities:

  • Management & maintenance of IT system including servers, PC’s, operating systems, phones, printers and software applications
  • Provide help desk-related support
  • Maintain and support software releases & updates; research and recommend IT process improvements
  • Work with SQL (scripting & commands)
  • Be on call and provide after hours support for planned maintenance, perform on call emergency support service and patching when required
  • Review and update Disaster Recovery and ensure applications, servers and backup processes are effective and reliable
  • Perform desktop/laptop set ups including Windows, phone and other computer applications as needed
  • Maintain and configure firewalls and other security tools
  • Coordinate financial aspects of IT department including purchasing, budgeting and work with third party consultants as needed
