Description:

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical discipline
  • At least 10 years of related IT experience in global or regional scale, of which 5 years in a managerial capacity
  • Leader with hands-on approach and ability to work in a multicultural / international workplace
  • Strong and proven stakeholder management experience and cross-functional business acumen
  • Possess excellent written (English), communication (English) and problem-solving skills
  • Good grasp of IT technologies, architectures and best practices
  • Have worked for companies using SAP system
  • Have been involved or in charge of local/regional SAP rollout is of an added advantage
  • Have worked in a matrix organisation with functional manager based overseas
  • Familiarity with IT governance frameworks and compliance requirements.
  • Knowledge and experience in implementing proactive maintenance strategies to prevent issues before they arise.
  • Ability to analyze data from IT operations to identify trends and potential areas for improvement.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest trends and best practices in IT operations and management.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive operational excellence and project delivery for SEA, India and Australasia region shared services and IT Infrastructure Solutions
  • Ensure Security, Reliability, Robustness, Performance of IT system by developing global IT structures with International Head Office in Switzerland and Corporate Office in Japan.
  • Participate local and regional Meeting to ensure IT strategy in practice and reporting. In additional, work with regional stakeholder to define strategic vision, scope of technology with system implementation, support and new system implementation
  • Maintain Global Audit requirement and documentations, IT Security Control in align with Corporate Office in Japan
  • Responsible for IT Governance, Awareness Training and IT Survey for Asia, SEA, India and Australasia
  • Responsible for IT KPI for IT Satisfaction Assessment, IT Cost and Budget, Ratio of IT investment per Sales and review to enhance technically for all technical and systems
  • Ensure the efficiency of 1st level and 2nd support of Computing, Network and Application support providing by IT Agency under SLA. Lead and oversee delivery of contracted programmers and projects in scope, cost within schedule and plan
  • Responsible IT Audit preparation include review, build and establish for Asia, India and Australasia in align with local audit and regional audit Review and established IT SOP, Policies to accomplish IT ISO/ IEC 27001
  • Develop a Central Repository for Asia e.g. announcements, marketing materials, KPIs, policies and procedures including information sharing and improving organization collaboration and communications
  • Managing and monitoring all computer hardware to ensure systems are running smoothly – regularly reporting back to the board.
  • Manage the overall operations of the IT department, including budgeting, staffing, and performance management.
  • Drive the adoption of innovative technologies to enhance infrastructure and network systems capabilities.
  • Auditing IT performance, managing budgets and evaluating vendor proposals.
  • Implement and maintain IT policies and procedures to ensure smooth operation and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Safeguarding our IT infrastructure against cyberthreats.
  • Serve as a key IT liaison with senior management, business units, and external partners.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels about IT operations, projects, and initiatives.
  • Leading the design and architecture of cloud-based infrastructure solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and compliance.
  • Defining architecture patterns and best practices for the organization.
  • Establish and develop configuration management framework for IT infrastructure from ground up.
  • Oversee capacity planning, monitoring, and performance tuning for current and future infrastructure needs.
  • Enhance processes to support scalability, security compliance, and resilience of infrastructure and network systems.
  • Any other ad hoc duties as assigned by the President from time to time
