We are now seeking an IT Manager with strong technical expertise, excellent people skills, and outstanding communication abilities to lead our technological advancements and contribute to the company’s overall success. The ideal location for the role is Oulu, Finland.
What you’ll do
As an IT Manager you play a crucial role in overseeing the organization’s end-user services and IT infrastructure and ensuring that all IT systems run smoothly. This position involves managing service providers, coordinating with other departments to understand their needs, and implementing solutions that enhance productivity and security. The initial focus areas of the position will be end-user services and IT infrastructure. Key responsibilities include:
Planning: Developing and executing IT plans that align with the company’s goals.
Vendor management: Negotiating and managing relationships with external vendors and service providers.
Information security: Maintain and develop information security policies and procedures to protect the organization’s data and IT infrastructure.
Project management: Overseeing IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budge
Continual improvement: Utilize problem management and continual incremental changes to ensure the reliability and security of the company’s information assets.
System maintenance: You plan, coordinate and oversee regular system maintenance.
