ABOUT THE CORPORATE IT DEPARTMENT

The Corporate Information Technology (IT) department at EBU supports 300 employees globally, operating 24/7 across various countries. Our primary function is to leverage computer technology to enhance staff productivity and align with the mission of EBU and Eurovision Services. We build a robust and comprehensive technology infrastructure, maintain an effective operational environment, and deliver high-quality, timely, cost-effective, and reliable technology services.

JOB SUMMARY

The EBU is seeking an experienced and dynamic IT Manager of Member Services to join our international team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing a roadmap to bring synergies and workflow across content exchange platforms, especially on backend systems such as media asset management, workflow, security, and business continuity. This role bridges the gap between member services and the IT department by collecting and translating business requirements into actionable technical specifications. You will manage various IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in the job discipline.
  • Proven experience as an IT Manager, Project Manager, or similar role.
  • Experience in managing member services or customer-facing IT operations is highly desirable.
  • Strong background in project management, including planning, execution, and monitoring of IT projects.
  • Experience in translating business requirements into technical specifications and actionable plans.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
  • Familiarity with software development life cycles and IT infrastructure management.
  • Experience with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, Asana).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with proficiency in English.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
