We are seeking a talented IT Manager to join our team within the local government sector in Atlanta, Georgia. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our Service Desk operations, managing a dedicated team, overseeing inventory management, and ensuring efficient ticket assignment. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity.

• Lead Service Desk operations and manage a team of Remote Helpdesk Technicians and a Data Analyst.
• Oversee inventory and handle requests for equipment as well as basic desktop support tasks.
• Assign tickets and ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements to maintain high levels of service.
• Conduct site visits and complete audits to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
• Prepare and present monthly reports on IT performance and team activities.
• Provide leadership and guidance in network administration, system administration, and project management.
• Utilize Cisco Technologies, Cloud Technologies, CRM, Dell Technologies, and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning skills in daily operations.
• Oversee Active Directory, Auditing, Backup Technologies, Computer Hardware, and Configuration Management tasks.
• Demonstrated expertise in managing Cisco Technologies is essential
• Solid understanding and experience with Cloud Technologies is a must
• Proficiency in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems is required
• Familiarity with Dell Technologies will be advantageous
• Experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is necessary
• Knowledge of Active Directory management and operations is expected
• Prior experience in Auditing within the IT sector is beneficial
• Proficiency in Backup Technologies is required
• Understanding of Computer Hardware and its applications is needed
• Experience in Configuration Management within an IT environment is crucial
• Candidates must be able to work in a local government setting
• The role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary
• A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field is required
• Prior experience in a similar role within the local government sector is advantageous.
