UK IT MANAGER
We’re looking for a UK IT Manager to evolve a secure and empowering technology landscape for our growing business across the UK (offices in London, Manchester and Macclesfield). You are an experienced IT leader looking for an opportunity to manage the day-to-day operations and deliver impactful technology solutions for a purpose-driven organisation by unleashing the potential of a passionate and capable team.
Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
The UK IT Manager is a business leader and core member of Lucid Group’s IT Function, and responsible for the development and execution of Lucid UK’s digital and technology services, infrastructure, and operations.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Enable the delivery of company objectives by providing technology services and solutions to meet current and future business needs.
- Lead and manage the UK IT team (3 individuals) to deliver the full suite of technology services to the business, including service desk, cloud services and infrastructure solutions.
- Coach, mentor and develop the IT team to improve their performance and increase capability.
- Build strong relationships with a range of key internal stakeholders to identify and prioritise business requirements and translate them into a technology roadmap.
- Contribute to the development of a Group-wide IT vision and strategy.
- Optimise and maintain high levels of service to deliver customer satisfaction on all technology solutions, including devices, remote and office-based connectivity, and software provision.
- Evolve UK systems and hardware infrastructure in a cost-effective manner to deliver improved service levels and productivity.
- Support Security Specialist in managing cybersecurity, data protection and compliance for Lucid Group to ensure continuity and adherence to client MSA’s
- Drive continuous improvement, stability, performance, and usability, seeking out and managing vulnerabilities through releases, upgrades, and patches.
- Help negotiate and manage third-party contracts, commercial arrangements, and service delivery.
- Communicate progress to wider organisations and provide specific updates to stakeholders against key project and BAU performance indicators.
