Description:
KYOCERA AVX Components (Munich) GmbH is looking for an IT Network Engineer (m/f/d) in Hallbergmoos.
As an IT Network Specialist, you will be a member of the Global IT Network Team and report directly to the Global IT Network Manager. In this role, you would be working in an international team to design, maintain and improve our global IT Network infrastructure with the focus of Wide Area Network (WAN).
Your Responsibilities
- Build and manage our SD-WAN based Wide Area Network
- Creating standards and designs and ensure they are implemented
- Ensuring the components are always updated with latest security patches
- Work closely with our local IT and our global partners to manage WAN circuits like MPLS and DIA
- Cooperating with our Lifecycle and Asset Management Manager and provide a budget plan to keep our infrastructure up to date
- Managing existing and new incidents and problems in the area of WAN
- Lead and drive projects related to our Wide Area Network (improvements and changes)
Our Requirements
- University degree in computer science or an apprenticeship as an IT specialist and initial work experience
- Existing VMWare SD-WAN training and or certificate is advantageous as well as CCNA or CCNP Level or equivalent
- Several years of professional experience with International Wide Area Network (WAN)
- Extensive knowledge of Routing Protocols as well as WAN Protocols and technologies
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to interact with all levels within the organization
- Be available off-hours on an as needed basis
- Willingness to travel as needed (2-3 times / year)
- Good English skills, both written and spoken
