Description:
Position Purpose
- This project manager is responsible for overseeing all IT aspect of project Jeepney to establish a new office in Manila.
- Includes managing the timeline, budget, resources, and coordinating between all stakeholders to ensure a successful office opening on schedule and within budget.
- Manage budget from IT perspective, ensure aggressive negotiation, cost effective solutions
- Manages the relationship with major stakeholders
- Vendor management
Responsibilities
Direct Responsibilities
- Develop detailed project plan and timeline for the new Manila office setup, including key milestones and deliverables.
- Track and report progress, identify and mitigate risks, removing blockers.
- Manage the installation of all necessary IT equipment and technology infrastructure.
- Co-ordinate with the facilities and all other stakeholders to ensure the new office is fully equipped and ready for employees
- Monitor the project budget and provide regular status updates to management
- Document all aspects of the IT infrastructure related to the office setup and keep documentation up to date.
- Lead with outstanding communication, problem solving, analytical and project management skills
Technical and Behavioral Competencies required
- Able to demonstrate the ability to undertake the above responsibilities
- Fundamental knowledge and Practical experience in deploying network and security equipment, such as Cisco routers, switches, wireless infrastructure, firewalls, proxies, load balancers, Infoblox etc
- Has a good knowledge of the Telecom providers and has experience working with them
- Effective communication skills to handle comms to teams, management and cross function stakeholders at all levels, and a proven record track record of delivering projects
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrate a positive, diverse and inclusive attitude that fosters excellent service and Business satisfaction
- Good team and relationship builder with excellent communication skills at all levels
- Excellent documentation skills
Experience and Qualifications requiredIT infrastructure project management
- 5+ years of experience in , preferably with experience in office relocations or build-outs
- Client-oriented, strong communication and organization skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
- Expertise in PMI methodology
- Expert knowledge of ITIL disciplines
- Self-starter
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Fluency in English (Cantonese and/or French are a ‘plus’)
