Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced IT Officer to join our team. As an IT Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our computer systems, networks, and software. Your expertise will help us maintain efficient and secure IT systems, supporting our business operations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain computer systems, networks, and software applications
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, resolving technical problems efficiently
- Install, configure, and update computer hardware, software, and network systems
- Provide technical support and training to staff members
- Ensure data security, privacy, and compliance with industry regulations
- Monitor system performance, identifying areas for improvement
- Implement backup and disaster recovery procedures
- Collaborate with external vendors and service providers as needed
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and reports
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Proven experience as an IT Officer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and software applications
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Effective communication and training skills
