Your responsibilities and tasks:
IT On-Site Services Consultant Location: York, PA Company: GEA Group
GEA Group, a leading global supplier for the food, beverage, and pharmaceutical sectors, is seeking an enthusiastic IT On-Site Services Consultant for our York, PA facility. Join our team and play a critical role in supporting IT systems across our Heating and Refrigeration Technology sites in the US.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage IT service delivery, ensuring adherence to SLAs.
  • Monitor and resolve IT issues to enhance user satisfaction.
  • Act as the escalation point for complex problems.
  • Ensure the deployment and functionality of corporate applications.
  • Build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Streamline IT service processes and maintain documentation.
  • Share best practices and collaborate with peers.
  • Provide technical support for local hardware and network devices.
  • Ensure high availability of IT systems.
  • Manage the lifecycle of local IT services.
  • Utilize ServiceNow ITSM for call and escalation management.
  • Champion continuous service improvement.
  • Support IT user relocations and senior executives as needed.

Your profile and qualifications:

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree in computer science and 4 years of related experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft ecosystem (Windows, Office Suite, Teams, Microsoft 365, Azure, SharePoint).
  • Skilled in IT infrastructure (PCs, printers, scanners, switches, firewalls, etc.).
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Problem-solving ability and proactive work approach.
  • Adaptability and eagerness to learn.
  • Collaborative team player.
  • Reliable and trustworthy with occasional travel (up to 10%).
