Description:
The Auto Solutions Department (ASD) is responsible for applications used to sell automobile insurance policies in Quebec and other Canadian provinces. The Auto solution is an internal digital solution used by members and clients online and by property and casualty insurance agents in client contact centres. The ASD is the core of property and casualty insurance operations. It uses cutting-edge technology and recent solutions now in production. As IT Operational Squad Coordinator, you help direct material, time, IT and human resources for the cross-sector projects and operational squads under your responsibility to ensure objectives are reached. You define and coordinate action plans to achieve the required milestones. More specifically, you will be required to :
- Plan deliverables by taking into account issues, complexity, practitioners and tie-ins with other squads
- Supervise and coordinate internal contributors involved in delivery
- Ensure team performance and quality control and identify project-specific standards, methods and procedures for squads
- Coordinate deliverables and ensure timelines are respected. Ensure performance and alignment with priorities
- Coordinate and facilitate daily huddle, planning and retrospective activities for squads
- Promote self-organization for squads and the structure of agile ceremonies.

What you bring to the table
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, project management or other appropriate field
- A minimum of six years of relevant project coordination experience
- Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
- Knowledge of French is required
- Advanced intermediate proficiency of English, both oral and written due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients
- GTD process proficiency
- Advanced proficiency in Jira and Confluence
- Knowledge of property and casualty insurance
- Expertise delivering multiple technology projects at the same time
- Expertise with Agile methodology
- Expertise as a programmer analyst or IT analyst
