EDUCATIONAL:

• A degree in Computer Science / Information System or Technology.
• Relevant technical certifications (e.g., Microsoft, CISCO, AWS, CompTIA).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

• Over 2+ years as an IT Operations\Technical Support Lead.
• Practical experience in managing and optimising IT infrastructure, encompassing both on-premises and cloud environments, server stacks, networking, and storage solutions.
• A strong understanding of IT support desk and operations processes, including incident and service request management.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
• Ability to oversee change management and associated project management.
• Technical Knowledge – Microsoft, Linux, LAN/WAN and SAN, Cybersecurity, Active Directory, Disaster Recovery, Office365, Virtualisation, Cloud technologies.
• Strong technical background in Infrastructure, Networking and Cloud solutions including network Redesign, Microsoft Solutions, Tenant Migrations, Systems upgrades / Implementation and good IT project delivery.
• Proven ability to problem solve, innovate and implement cost-effective IT solutions that support business objectives.
• Expertise in automating routine tasks, managing patches, and ensuring that system updates are efficiently applied.
• IT Partner and IT Vendor engagement and management.
• Experience in leading a IT Ops engineering team in a fast paced and agile commercial enterprise.
• Collaborative style of working and facilitating positive change in an ambitious, growing business.

In your role as the IT Ops Lead (EMEA) you will help with the day-to-day management of the EMEA IT Ops engineers to ensure the reliability, security, and efficiency of IT operations and delivery of IT Projects across the region.

• Coach and manage a team of engineers, setting clear objectives, offering hands-on technical support, conducting performance assessments, and promoting the team’s professional growth.
• Lead and manage IT projects.
• Implement well-defined procedures for incident and service request management, prioritising tasks and ensuring timely resolution.
• Establish and maintain high standards for customer service, ensuring a positive user experience.
• Deliver exceptional service by engaging proactively with stakeholders across the business.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, and system integration.
• Implement a regime for continuous improvement.
• Work with the Head of IT Operations to develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure the effective and efficient use of technology.
